About the position

The Specialist OSP Design Engineer at AT&T is responsible for planning, designing, and analyzing network components and infrastructure to support strategic technology goals. This role involves both Wireline and Wireless components and requires limited experience, focusing on innovative technology solutions to enhance customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Recommends strategic network planning and network evolution policy decisions in support of corporate initiatives.
• Evaluates network capacity and performance criteria to develop and implement strategies for network growth and change.
• Creates deliverables such as Plans of Record, Forecasts, Serving Plans, Use Permits, Cost Estimates, Handoffs, Workprints, and Utility Agreements.

Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, or Engineering.
• Typically requires 1-2 years of experience in a technical role.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of technical principles and AT&T technologies.
• Basic knowledge of engineering positions, design tools, and databases.
