The position is responsible for managing projects based on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) metrics, as well as overseeing new launch projects with a strong emphasis on process optimization through root cause analysis utilizing Six Sigma methodology. The role also involves training personnel in Six Sigma methodologies within the plant, conducting official training classes, and coaching yellow and green belt projects within various segments. The ultimate goal is to fulfill customer and business requirements while ensuring cost-effectiveness. Key responsibilities include conducting tier 3 root cause analysis for fast-paced manufacturing process optimization and development, employing Six Sigma problem-solving techniques for both current production and new launch projects. The individual will be responsible for completing internal technical reports in accordance with Schaeffler's Process Analysis report procedures. Additionally, the role involves initializing and defining Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt projects, including initial planning and project commissioning for yellow and green belts within segments. The position also requires planning, controlling, and completing Six Sigma yellow and green belt projects, as well as providing Six Sigma training within the Schaeffler Group. This includes coaching up to 16 individuals per training group for Yellow Belt training, introducing statistical tools and Minitab for practical use in process optimization for those not pursuing a Yellow or Green Belt, and conducting Green Belt training for up to 30 individuals per group, with coaching for up to 5 individuals per group.
