About the position

The Specialist, Program Finance at L3Harris Technologies is responsible for managing all financial aspects of a set of contracts within the Finance team. This role involves performing analyses related to profitability, cash flow, and quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reports, as well as developing and distributing financial reports to stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with the Program Management Office to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting, supporting decision-making processes with timely data.

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial actions for assigned programs, including tracking cash flow and financial planning.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financials for Program Management Reviews.
• Support month-end and week soft closing activities, validating actuals and revenue recognition.
• Provide financial forecasts and Estimate at Completion (EAC) for programs.
• Analyze and submit weekly program financials.
• Participate in customer meetings as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel, focusing on pivots, vlookups, macros, and other features.
• 2+ years of experience in Program Finance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and tools (COBRA/MS Project).
• Experience collaborating with Program Managers, Business Development Managers, finance, accounting, FP&A, and Engineering functions.
• Strong attention to detail.
