About the position

The Specialist, Program Finance plays a crucial role in supporting project teams by managing the financial aspects of various projects. This includes planning, tracking, analyzing, and reporting on projects of different contract types and complexities. The position involves generating financial reports, conducting variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Support project team members in planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects.
• Generate monthly Integrated Program Management Reports (IPMR and/or IPMDAR).
• Prepare Quarterly Estimate at Completions (EACs) and monthly forecasts for Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash, and Working Capital.
• Conduct Earned Value Management and baseline planning/execution.
• Prepare accurate variance analysis and reporting.
• Make adjustments to systems and processes to improve financial tools and processes.
• Interface with Program Management, Accounting, Functional Leads, and customers to provide financial information.
• Provide financial analysis for audits and other financial activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in Earned Value Management.
• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience is preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience is required.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.
• Ability to obtain DoD clearances if required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Deltek Cobra, Deltek Costpoint, Empower, and Cognos.
• Advanced Excel skills including Macros, Arrays, and SUMIF formulas.
