About the position

The QC Specialist role at Bristol-Myers Squibb is focused on supporting quality control testing for in-process, final product, and stability samples. This position involves data review and verification, assisting with method transfers, documentation, deviations, investigations, and continuous improvement efforts. The role operates on a Wednesday to Saturday PM shift, emphasizing the importance of accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine testing of in-process, final product, and stability samples.
  • Conduct testing for method transfer, validation, and verification.
  • Verify data and review GMP documentation for general methods.
  • Assist with document revisions, project tasks, CAPA, and deviation investigations.
  • Train analysts on general job duties.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, preferably in science.
  • 2+ years of relevant analytical testing or QC experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in cell and molecular biology techniques (e.g., cell-based assays, flow cytometry, qPCR, ELISA, and aseptic technique).
  • Ability to understand and apply Global Regulatory and cGMP requirements.
  • Knowledge of LIMS, ELN, and laboratory data analysis systems preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
  • Effective communication skills with peers and management.
  • Experience with writing technical documents preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines.
