About the position

The Specialist Sales Operations Lead at AWS is responsible for supporting Worldwide Specialized Sales, Business Development, and Solution Architecture teams by optimizing business processes, systems, tools, analysis, and reporting. This role focuses on enhancing seller productivity and operational excellence, providing insights into accounts, territories, revenue, and compensation. The Sales Operations Lead will manage core sales operations functions and advocate for sales specialists and managers, ensuring that systems and processes support the introduction of new products and drive improvements in reporting tools and methods.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales leaders to implement and manage business processes and systems.
  • Provide business insights to sales specialists and managers regarding accounts, territories, revenue, and compensation.
  • Create and manage mechanisms for optimizing sales operations functions such as KPI reporting and variable compensation.
  • Become a subject matter expert on revenue, pipeline, compensation, and key metrics.
  • Build scalable mechanisms and leverage automation to enhance business capacity.
  • Ensure systems and processes support the introduction of new products.
  • Support Sales Operations Managers in improving reporting tools and methods.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, and forecasting.
  • Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Experience with SFDC, SQL, data visualization tools, and advanced Excel skills.
