About the position

The Specialist Sales Operations Lead at AWS is responsible for supporting Worldwide Specialized Sales, Business Development, and Solution Architecture teams by optimizing business processes, systems, tools, analysis, and reporting. This role involves partnering with sales leaders to enhance operational excellence, providing insights into accounts and revenue, and advocating for sales specialists. The position requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can manage large data sets and communicate complex results effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales leaders to implement and manage business processes and systems.
  • Create and manage mechanisms to optimize core sales operations functions such as KPI reporting and variable compensation.
  • Become a subject matter expert on revenue, pipeline, and compensation metrics.
  • Build scalable mechanisms and leverage automation to enhance business capacity.
  • Support Sales Operations Managers in improving reporting tools and processes.
  • Communicate complex analytical results clearly to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM and revenue reporting
  • Experience defining and implementing sales processes and policies
  • Experience with SFDC, SQL, data visualization tools, and advanced Excel skills
