About the position

The Sales Operations Lead for AWS Specialists and Partners Sales and Business Operations will partner with Specialist GTM teams to enhance the adoption of strategic AWS domains and services. This role involves analyzing historical results, making business recommendations, and managing the annual GTM plan, business processes, systems, reports, and strategies to optimize business functions. The position requires a deep understanding of AWS service offerings and the ability to provide actionable insights to drive growth and improve business effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted business partner to Specialist leaders and team members, leveraging data and analyses to land business insights, develop GTM strategies, and scale the business.
  • Deliver improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to their customers.
  • Support the administration and execution of the team's targets, including segmentation of business goals, measurement of goal attainment, evolving and driving various demand generation campaigns and proposing improvements to the business to increase its effectiveness in driving desired results.
  • Support the rhythm of the business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics.
  • Work directly with the models/data. Work with data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them.
  • Advocate for their customers to other internal stakeholders. Active collaboration with teams in AWS Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Recruiting, and AWSI Sales Operations will be crucial to the effective execution of the responsibilities.
  • Drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
  • Demonstrated technical competency using SQL and MS Excel to manipulate and analyze data.

  • Strong business-process design experience and deep experience in prioritization of deliverables and tasks.
