About the position

The Sales Operations Lead for AWS Specialists and Partners Sales and Business Operations will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of strategic AWS domains and services. This position involves partnering with various teams to analyze historical results and provide business recommendations to senior management. The lead will develop and manage the annual go-to-market (GTM) plan, optimize business functions, and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, leveraging data to drive insights and strategies for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted business partner to Specialist leaders and team members, leveraging data and analyses to land business insights, develop GTM strategies, and scale the business.
  • Deliver improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to their customers.
  • Support the administration and execution of the team's targets, including segmentation of business goals, measurement of goal attainment, evolving and driving various demand generation campaigns and proposing improvements to the business to increase its effectiveness in driving desired results.
  • Support the rhythm of the business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics.
  • Work directly with the models/data. Work with data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them.
  • Advocate for their customers to other internal stakeholders. Active collaboration with teams in AWS Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Recruiting, and AWSI Sales Operations will be crucial to the effective execution of the responsibilities.
  • Drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
  • Demonstrated technical competency using SQL and MS Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • Strong business-process design experience and deep experience in prioritization of deliverables and tasks
