About the position

The Data Governance Manager is responsible for ensuring the integrity of data inputs across the CRM (Salesforce) and OMS (Placements.IO) systems for the AD Retail Media network. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate data that supports pipeline management, sales metrics, and leadership reporting. The manager develops and implements data governance strategies, policies, and best practices, acting as a subject matter expert and collaborating with various teams to meet strategic data goals while ensuring ethical data use.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and lead the implementation of best practices in data governance and master data management automation.
  • Provide data governance and data quality support across Retail Media.
  • Protect sensitive data through the implementation of policies, standards, and governance metrics.
  • Serve as a thought leader representing ADUSA and the expansion of the Salesforce practice across functional areas.
  • Ensure safeguards are implemented across all Retail Media data domains, including data cleansing and developing conversion objects.
  • Educate and support business teams impacted by resulting specifications and standards.
  • Own all touchpoints of the data through the Order to Cash Cycle, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Ensure data is entered into Salesforce accurately by the account management and sales team.
  • Validate and audit specific fields in Salesforce to avoid invoicing errors.
  • Manage the auditing of created and locked opportunities from Account Management and IO record types.
  • Automate forecasting, revenue recognition, and reporting for the Account Management and Sales teams.
  • Assign Salesforce tasks to the Account Management team when errors are found.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to build and maintain the CRM database by creating new leads.
  • Build dashboards within CRM to assist in reporting across various metrics and teams.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce CRM platform with experience in supporting data governance and data integrity.
  • Proven knowledge of data integration tools and ability to manage complex business ecosystems and data inputs.
  • Ability to support users, manage data, and maintain security standards tied to actionable insights and analytics.
  • Solid understanding of program and process development.
  • Ability to determine long-term directions and industry trends related to organizational needs.
  • Must be able to initiate change and communicate effectively.
