About the position
The SEO Specialist at Lippert is responsible for executing various SEO activities to enhance the company's online presence. This includes conducting keyword research, optimizing content and metadata, building backlinks, and advising on technical SEO improvements. The role requires collaboration with multiple teams to implement SEO best practices and track key metrics to align with marketing goals.
Responsibilities
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
- Identify content opportunities based on SEO goals, including new content, content changes, new visual assets, website architecture changes, and interlinking opportunities
- Assign SEO tasks to Content Specialists and Developers for implementation as well as execute on the tasks yourself
- Advise and collaborate with Advertising team, Social team, Development team, and others to champion SEO best practices and advance mutual goals
- Drive technical SEO improvements in collaboration with the Development team, such as sitemap, structured data, and load speed improvements
- Track, report, and analyze website metrics for Marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
- 3 years of working experience within the SEO field
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
- Keeping current with content and SEO industry standards, trends, and new developments, including AI search tools
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
- Experience optimizing for Google, YouTube, Bing, and others
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, OnCrawl, Contentsquare, Algolia)
- Experience with keyword research tools, such as Semrush, BrightEdge, VidIQ, Keyword Planner
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Microsoft 365 suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- Experience with webpage builder programs, such as WordPress, Magento, Contentful, etc.
- Experience with task management tools, such as Jira
