About the position

The Specialist/Sr. Specialist Digital Content Production at American Airlines is responsible for creating engaging multimedia experiences that enhance brand storytelling and communication. This role involves collaborating with designers and stakeholders to produce compelling video content and other digital assets that resonate with team members and customers alike. The position requires a strong commitment to visual storytelling and the ability to navigate both studio and field-based productions.

Responsibilities

  • Create content that inspires engagement with American Airlines' brand storytelling.
  • Develop concepts, campaigns, storyboards, and designs for various communications efforts.
  • Produce animated GIFs, enhanced data visualizations, illustrations, and logos.
  • Participate in video and photo shoots from planning to post-production.
  • Create snackable content tailored for various channels.
  • Identify innovative stories aligned with American Airlines' brand based on business priorities and industry trends.
  • Deliver fresh approaches to print, social, web, and large format screens.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Arts, Video, Communications, or a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Premiere, and After Effects.
  • Strong visual design skills, including layouts, information design, motion graphics, and typography.
