About the position

The Specialist in Sustainability and Social Impact at Holt Renfrew is responsible for supporting the development, promotion, and communication of sustainability and social impact strategies. This role involves managing the company's social impact portfolio, ensuring that programs enhance the company's reputation while aligning with community and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of sustainability and social impact strategies across all departments.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on key metrics to assess strategy effectiveness.
• Develop communication materials promoting sustainability and social impact initiatives.
• Stay current on ESG disclosure frameworks and provide recommendations.
• Research industry best practices to enhance Holt Renfrew's strategies.
• Manage the social impact portfolio and employee engagement programs.
• Organize and maintain social impact reporting and respond to donation requests.
• Support the CommUnity Care Committee in developing and coordinating activities.
• Engage partners to enhance social impact strategy and encourage volunteerism.
• Support the development of the annual sustainability report and internal audit review.
• Coordinate the collection and communication of sustainability report data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in sustainability or related roles.
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
• Understanding of ESG disclosure frameworks and reporting standards.
• Excellent data analytical and research skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Goal-oriented with a sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Adaptable and comfortable with change in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
• Compliance with privacy policies and cyber security measures.
