This position works in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, deadline-driven environment where the preparation and processing of large currency and coin deposits are performed in a secure vault environment utilizing high-speed currency counter/sorters. The role is designed for individuals who thrive in a structured environment and can manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to strict deadlines. The incumbent will work onsite 100% of the time, with a dedicated workspace, although the work location may change based on business needs. Daily responsibilities include processing daily deposit transactional work, ensuring that all tasks are completed by the end of the day unless directed otherwise by the Manager or Lead. The role also involves processing daily change order requests and balancing the cash drawer and vault daily, accounting for all funds and following all balancing procedures. Timely research of discrepancies is essential, as is the ability to key incoming lockbox payments to meet or exceed established department goals and deadlines. The ideal candidate will perform daily work at a level that meets or exceeds individual production standards. Compliance is a critical aspect of this role. The incumbent must understand and comply with the Bank's BSA/AML Program and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Completing all assigned compliance training classes by set deadlines is mandatory. Participation in Continuous Improvement principles and Managing for Daily Improvement practices within the department is expected. The candidate will also create, track, and record goals and objectives based on departmental priorities and personal career goals, reporting any compliance issues or violations of law or regulations as defined in the FNO Compliance Accountability Program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professional behavior, maintain constructive working relationships, engage in open communication, and show commitment, dependability, and respect for team members. Regular and predictable attendance, punctuality, and adherence to the agreed-upon schedule are essential attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Process daily deposit transactional work, meeting daily deadlines unless directed otherwise by Manager/Lead.
  • Process daily change order requests, ensuring pickup times are met.
  • Balance cash drawer and vault daily, accounting for all funds and following all balancing procedures.
  • Research discrepancies timely and completely according to procedures.
  • Key incoming lockbox payments to meet or exceed established department goals and deadlines.
  • Perform daily work at a level to meet or exceed Individual Production Standards.
  • Understand and comply with the Bank's BSA/AML Program; adhere to all bank policy, laws, and regulations applicable to the role.
  • Complete all assigned Compliance training classes by set deadlines.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement principles and Managing for Daily Improvement practices within the department.
  • Create, track, and record Goals & Objectives based on priorities/goals of the department as well as personal career goals.
