About the position

The Specialist, Warehouse Dock Fulfilment is responsible for retrieving inventory and packing merchandise for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety and security procedures while ensuring timely and accurate completion of shipments.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve inventory and pack merchandise for shipment.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material needs.
• Control and maintain all records required for accurate, on-time completion of shipments.
• Work in a team environment to accomplish work assignments.
• Receive inventory and check the merchandise's quality and accuracy.
• Efficiently wrap and pack merchandise with packing slip or order details for each shipment.
• Prepare all merchandise accurately and ready for shipping on time.
• Use computers, email, scanners, and warehouse management systems to track inventory and create paperwork.
• Support and promote company core values.
• Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in Freight Forwarding or Transportation industry.
• Attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
• Ability to read and interpret general business documents.
• Ability to write routine and general business correspondence.
• Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.
• Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions.
• Good judgment and ability to escalate issues when necessary.
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
• Ability to type and update computer systems quickly and accurately.
• Proven competence to communicate clearly and persuasively with all levels of an organization.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and set priorities.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
