Sales responsibilities will include cross-selling products, upselling items, and maintaining an organized store appearance. You will need to stay updated on the latest trends and product features, using company tools and technology to provide customers with accurate information. Additionally, you will handle cash transactions using a Point-of-Sales system, process various forms of payment, and complete necessary paperwork and reports. Inventory management is another critical aspect of this position, as you will be responsible for ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and ticketed. Dependability is key, as you will need to adhere to your assigned work schedule and follow through on work assignments accurately. Overall, this position requires a blend of customer service, sales acumen, and organizational skills to succeed in a dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of retail or relevant work experience required.
  • 6 months of product-specific experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain flexible to business needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in jewelry sales or knowledge of jewelry products.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sales systems.
