Responsibilities

• Provide support for tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, budgeting, decision-making, etc.
• Assist with skill acquisition and fostering independence.
• Administer medication and support medical appointments.
• Support the overall health and well-being of the individual served.
• Document daily activities via a web-based case management application (THERAP).
• Provide fun and leisure experiences to the individual by facilitating community inclusion and socialization.
• Ensure compliance with all state and agency policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members as needed.
• Support the physical needs of the individual served.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, feeding, and behavioral support as required.

Requirements

• Must reside in the state of Nebraska.
• Must own or rent a suitable home.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and current registration required.
• Active home/renters insurance is necessary.
• Reliable computer and internet access is required.
• Ability to pass State/Federal and APS/CPS background check.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in caregiving or support roles preferred but not required.
