About the position
The Specialized Instructor plays a crucial role in enhancing families' abilities to support their children's overall development and learning. This position involves designing and implementing developmentally appropriate intervention strategies to assist children in reaching their full potential across various developmental areas, including fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, language and speech, social, and self-help skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate intervention strategies for children.
- Support families in enhancing their child's overall development and learning.
- Assist children in reaching their full potential in various developmental areas.
- Collaborate with a support team to meet the mission of Thrive Pediatrics.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood related field or a Bachelor's Degree in child development, education, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience working with young children with developmental delays and/or special needs.
- Infant First Aid and CPR certification.
- TB clearance and willingness to undergo a background check.
