About the position

The Specialized Reading Tutor at Boundless Expectations Inc. is responsible for providing multisensory tutoring in reading and writing, as well as specialized math tutoring for students with learning challenges or disabilities. The role involves working closely with students, families, and educational stakeholders to ensure effective learning solutions are implemented. Tutors will have the opportunity to work flexible hours and will receive training to enhance their tutoring skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• A master's degree in education or a related field
• Relevant experience in an educational field of practice
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to create and execute prescriptive lesson plans
• Experience working with students one-on-one and in small groups
• Availability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to self-organize and manage multiple student cases
• Ability to collect and manage data
• Familiarity with the Google Suite of applications
