About the position

The Specialty Account Representative at Pharmacosmos Therapeutics Inc. is responsible for driving sales and managing complex accounts within the hematology and oncology markets. This role requires a strong clinical understanding of the products and the ability to develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders to influence thought leaders. The representative will work to meet territory sales objectives, implement marketing strategies, and maintain a deep knowledge of the disease state and product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed all territory sales objectives.
  • Achieve territory sales objectives through successful stakeholder meetings and territory business plans.
  • Maintain and expand customer base by building rapport with key customers and identifying new opportunities.
  • Implement national and regional initiatives effectively.
  • Apply the Pharmacosmos selling process tailored to customer needs across multiple products.
  • Demonstrate sound judgement and self-awareness in decision-making.
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in product, market, and disease state knowledge.
  • Execute effective account management processes to expand business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate business acumen by analyzing information and recognizing trends.
  • Systematically evaluate business opportunities in line with corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal partners across various functional areas.
  • Demonstrate leadership by taking initiative on projects and participating in meetings.
  • Proactively seek ways to improve performance and develop a career plan.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree required.
  • Minimum 6 years of current pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of specialty pharmaceutical experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of account-based selling and experience with infusion products.
  • Proven sales success in Hematology/Oncology and hospital accounts.
  • Strong analytical and business acumen.
  • Ability to meet travel requirements of up to 30% overnight.

Nice-to-haves

  • Buy-and-bill and HEM/ONC experience preferred.
  • Product launch experience preferred.
