Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading a special asset management business for a Private Bank Group region or department.
  • Assists in developing and implementing strategic objectives for a Specialty Asset Management (SAM) line of business with respect to revenue production and relationship, new business and technical support.
  • Oversight of investment holding companies held in trusts, estates, and investment management accounts.
  • Oversees certain programs within Private Business Group including analytical methods, valuation, financial models and tools, and special projects.
  • Approve all new assets and numerous types of transactions.
  • Coach teammates and interact with internal and external stakeholders having varying levels of understanding in the subject matter.
  • Achieve asset management goals and meet client objectives while managing fiduciary risk.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in investment analysis or related field.
  • Requires BA/BA/BBS degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA and 5+ years of experience in a fiduciary environment.
  • Accredited Sr. Appraiser designation in Business Valuation (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
