About the position

St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI) is seeking Licensed Psychologists with specialty behavioral health expertise in areas that are not currently served within our 11 existing specialty programs. We are committed to growth and are always looking to hire exceptional talent to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. We are especially interested in providers with Evidenced Based Treatment expertise which expand beyond our current service offerings. Examples of specialty therapies, diagnostic areas, and/or specialty populations include but not limited to: Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Complex PTSD, Domestic Violence, Addictions (Compulsive Gambling, Internet Addictions, Sexual Addictions), working with Military personnel, working with Medical Providers, working with First Responders, Psychotic Disorders, Sleep Disorders. Note: Local Candidates in MO preferred, but not required. We are open to eligible candidates located outside of the St. Louis region who may be interested in joining our team through providing telehealth services. Interested candidates for this option must be professionally licensed in Missouri, or eligible to treat patients through telehealth via PSYPACT credentialing. Our clinicians enjoy the aspects of being an independent provider that are appealing, while having the administrative and operational support to manage everything else that you need as a provider. Our dedicated and multidisciplinary team of 70+ colleagues are willing to share their clinical expertise for case consultation, continuing education, and program development. Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological services to clients with various behavioral health needs.
  • Utilize Evidenced Based Treatment expertise in specialty areas.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for clients.
  • Participate in case consultations and continuing education.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance service offerings.
  • Manage a diverse caseload and maintain active patient engagement.

Requirements

  • Master's or doctoral degree in a clinical mental health field (e.g. MSW, Professional Counselor, Ph.D).
  • Fully licensed by the State of Missouri to practice independently.
  • Current Psychology license in a PSYPACT state for non-Missouri residents.
  • Credentialed-eligible for managed care panels in Missouri.
