About the position

The Specialty Deposits Support Associate plays a crucial role in providing high-level customer service to bank clients, particularly high-net-worth individuals. This position involves assisting the Regional Director of Specialty Deposits and the Sales team in managing complex bank account structures and servicing requirements. The associate is expected to maintain knowledge of industry trends and products while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the position.
  • Act as the primary customer contact for targeted commercial and specialty deposit clients with complex bank account structures.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the relationships and portfolios supported.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and professional customer service and problem resolution to all clients.
  • Assist specialty deposit clients with new accounts, wires, and account inquiries.
  • Assist the team with document review and account implementation.
  • Maintain working knowledge of commercial account products, including treasury management services and investment alternatives.
  • Perform new account reviews and maintenance on accounts and system requests.
  • Assist in training staff as requested.
  • Develop methods to streamline daily functions and improve productivity.
  • Maintain a work environment that instills motivation, teamwork, and enterprising attitudes.
  • Process and respond to email requests and calls, open/close accounts, and manage account maintenance requests.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of Treasury Management/Digital Banking experience required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and industry-specific software.
  • Ability to produce accurate and timely results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Fiduciary Accounts and Property Management.
