About the position
The Specialty Product Analyst - Standby Transactions Processor role at JPMorgan Chase involves managing operational activities related to Standby Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze trade business products, ensuring compliance and efficiency in processing transactions. The analyst will work within the Trade & Working Capital Operations team, focusing on providing exceptional service to clients while adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operational activities for Standby/Guarantee functional team
- Process transaction Standby letter of credit / Bank Guarantees - issuance, amendments, document examination & payments including compliance screening for the relevant documents
- Ensure seamless workflow and expedite urgent transactions as per Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Support management in improving process efficiency by analyzing service quality and identifying areas for improvement
- Develop and exercise business plans, internal procedures, and lead projects to offer innovative solutions and cost efficiency opportunities
- Support a wide range of stakeholders including product, sales, client service, partner site, and tech support
- Build effective relationships with management and internal stakeholders
- Manage crisis situations through proper escalation matrix and motivate team
- Accountable for integrity of process, operations and associated results
Requirements
- Strong business knowledge on Trade products, processes and system knowledge
- Excellent Customer Service Skills to handle irate clients or internal stakeholders
- Ability to multitask and manage various issues/tasks assigned within the team
- Excellent attention to detail
