About the position

Zions Bancorporation is seeking an experienced Specialty Product Manager to join their Enterprise Retail Banking Product team. This role involves managing various deposit products, ensuring compliance, conducting product research, and collaborating with multiple departments to bring products to market. The position is highly visible and reports to the Senior Vice President of Retail Deposit Products, with a hybrid work schedule available.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned products for one or more product lines to maximize product potential.
  • Oversee overdrafts, check orders, safe boxes, and other deposit products as assigned.
  • Respond to and own operational and compliance-related issues.
  • Support product testing, control oversight, and development of team procedures.
  • Conduct product research and profitability analysis.
  • Make recommendations regarding product features, design, and pricing strategy to appropriate approval committees.
  • Work with other departments to bring products to market, especially IT, Operations, and Compliance.
  • Develop and implement marketing and communication campaigns.
  • Track and report on the success of deposit promotions.
  • Evaluate product and deposit program results and make product modifications as needed.
  • Act as a business owner when making recommendations and decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related field.
  • 6+ years' experience in consumer or commercial banking.
  • Strong data or financial analysis skills and experience.
  • Direct experience in product management, product analysis, design, and development is preferred.
  • Knowledge of banking procedures, technology systems, and regulations that create the foundations of good product design and ongoing management is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with bank risk management and compliance.
  • Good judgement and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to conduct thorough analysis and resolve problems by working with stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in product analysis, design, and development.
