About the position

The Specialty Provider Market Account Executive at Solventum is responsible for managing a territory that includes small hospitals and physician practices in the Central United States. This role involves regular interaction with clients, understanding their initiatives and needs, and providing diagnostic services to enhance their operational efficiency. The executive will achieve sales objectives through independent coverage of assigned accounts, leveraging their expertise in healthcare technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a territory consisting of small hospitals and physician practices in the Central United States.
  • Engage in weekly interactions with clients, specifically executives.
  • Understand clients' ongoing short and long-term initiatives, success metrics, issues, and needs.
  • Provide constant diagnostic service to clients, including on-site workflow, system, and operational analysis.
  • Achieve sales objectives by providing independent sales coverage of assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND three (3) years of successful hi-tech direct sales experience in the healthcare industry OR High School Diploma/GED AND seven (7) years of successful hi-tech direct sales experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Current, valid Driver's License.
  • Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM application.
  • Previously held direct sales roles with a well-regarded information solutions, technology services, or software business within the healthcare information technology sector.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge and demonstrable experience selling and delivering complex technology solutions across multiple departments in Non-Acute Hospitals and Physician Practices.
  • Proven ability to position value/benefits with 'C level' decision makers and/or Physician Practice leadership.
  • Ability to initiate and develop successful selling strategies; ability to fully negotiate contracts and close profitable business.
