About the position

The Specialty Retail Manager at Hudson is a leadership role focused on driving sales and enhancing customer service within specialty retail stores at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. This position involves collaborating with the General Manager and various specialty brands to ensure operational excellence and brand consistency while meeting sales targets and managing expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to manage multi-unit operations effectively.
  • Train staff and ensure they deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while keeping shrink to a minimum.
  • Set a high standard through strong work ethic and lead by example to uphold a positive corporate image.
  • Deliver top-notch customer service and maintain an attractive, well-organized store.
  • Ensure brand consistency, keeping the brand experience seamless across all customer touchpoints.
  • Manage payroll and expenses by optimizing staff productivity and keeping monthly expenses within budget.
  • Enforce policies consistently to protect assets and reduce shrink by monitoring high-risk areas.
  • Work with the marketing team on brand promotions and look for new growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product development to meet customer needs and support in-store events.
  • Partner with merchandising teams on corporate and local initiatives and ensure seasonal resets are completed on time.
  • Provide regular updates on stock, branding, sales initiatives, and performance targets.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of retail management experience, specialty retail experience is a bonus!
  • Strong leadership abilities and excellent organizational skills.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset.
  • Skilled in coordinating multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Strong time management and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with customers, team members, landlords, suppliers, and supervisors.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
