About the position

The Specifications Writer will play a crucial role in managing K12 school projects, ensuring that design specifications are met throughout the construction process. This position requires a licensed architect with extensive experience in specification writing and proficiency in Revit, contributing to both design and quality aspects of educational facility projects.

Responsibilities

• Work on K12 school projects using Revit.
• Contribute to both the design and quality aspects of construction.
• Ensure construction follows the design specifications.
• Manage client relationships and project timelines from start to finish.
• Complete construction drawings in Revit.
• Write and manage specifications using Master Spec and SpecLink.

Requirements

• Licensed Architect.
• 10+ years of experience in specification writing.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with K12 or Higher Education building projects.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficiency in drafting, detailing, and construction documentation.
• Experience with Master Spec and SpecLink.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in healthcare architecture is a plus.
• Strong design and schematic design skills.
• Excellent client management abilities.
