About the position
The Speech Services Specialist at ATX Learning is responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to students, helping them improve their communication skills and overall quality of life. This role involves working closely with students, parents, and educational staff to develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Assess students' speech and language abilities and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students' communication needs.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff on speech and language development.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience with teletherapy services.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
