Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional inpatient or outpatient care to adult patients.
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient recovery.
  • Stay updated with new computer and clinic systems for efficient patient management.

Requirements

  • California State Speech Pathology license
  • Masters degree in Communicative Disorders from an institution approved by the American Speech and Hearing Association
  • High level of clinical skill to evaluate and treat children with speech and language needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Able to efficiently learn new computer and clinic systems
  • Excellent documentation abilities
  • Specific clinical training in a hospital/rehabilitation setting is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year of Speech Language Pathology outpatient or inpatient experience
