About the position

The Speech Language Pathologist-Neuro-PRN position at Learning Services Corporation involves providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation services to patients in their own homes and communities. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care for individuals with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses. The position offers flexibility in scheduling and emphasizes an evidence-based approach to treatment, ensuring durable outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat impairments in speech and language, executive functioning, cognitive needs, dysphagia, and augmentative communication needs.
• Develop integrated treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide individualized services to patients in their homes and communities.
• Communicate effectively with families, professionals, and co-workers regarding patient progress and needs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
• Experience in treating neurologically related disorders is strongly preferred.
• Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with patients with traumatic brain injuries or spinal cord injuries.
