Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose and provide treatment for speech, language/learning, cognitive-communication, swallowing and fluency disorders.
- Complete required procedure or visit documentation and coding.
- Contribute to program development and quality activities.
- Meet continuing education, certification and training requirements.
- Provide feedback to team per integrated Care Delivery model.
Requirements
- Minimum nine (9) months experience as a clinical speech-language pathologist.
- Masters degree in communication disorders or speech-language pathology.
- Speech-Language Pathologist License (Washington) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support required at hire.
- Clinical competence for age(s), populations, and disorders based on job site location.
Nice-to-haves
- Five (5) years of clinical experience.
- Lee Silverman Voice Treatment Certification obtained shortly after date of hire/transfer.
- Expert level of competence with skills that include specialty training in FEES, videofluoroscopy, videostroboscopy, American Sign Language, PROMPT, and accent modification.
