Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose and provide treatment for speech, language/learning, cognitive-communication, swallowing and fluency disorders.
  • Complete required procedure or visit documentation and coding.
  • Contribute to program development and quality activities.
  • Meet continuing education, certification and training requirements.
  • Provide feedback to team per integrated Care Delivery model.

Requirements

  • Minimum nine (9) months experience as a clinical speech-language pathologist.
  • Masters degree in communication disorders or speech-language pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (Washington) required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
  • Clinical competence for age(s), populations, and disorders based on job site location.

Nice-to-haves

  • Five (5) years of clinical experience.
  • Lee Silverman Voice Treatment Certification obtained shortly after date of hire/transfer.
  • Expert level of competence with skills that include specialty training in FEES, videofluoroscopy, videostroboscopy, American Sign Language, PROMPT, and accent modification.
