About the position

Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a contract School Speech Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 school year, partnering with an exceptional school district. This role is focused on providing specialized speech and language services to students, with the opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of special education.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language assessments and interventions for students.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel regarding student needs and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a School Speech Language Pathologist within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum).
• Valid School Speech Language Pathologist credential/license or in process in the state of practice.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a school setting.
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
