About the position
Relient Health is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to significantly impact patients' lives through quality speech therapy services. The SLP will be responsible for patient evaluations, treatment planning, and program development, all while fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Screening patients
- Performing evaluations and developing initial and interim treatment and discharge plans
- Documenting progress toward identified objectives
- Overseeing Clinical Fellowship Year Clinicians (SLP-CFYs) if applicable
- Developing and implementing new programs/techniques to enhance speech therapy services
- Conducting patient and family education
- Delivering quality speech therapy services
- Putting patient service first
- Maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
Requirements
- State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Professional or Student Speech Language Pathologist experience
- Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility to complete a post-graduate clinical fellowship (CFY)
- State licensure or provisional permit eligibility to practice as an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
