About the position
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position at ProCare Therapy involves working full-time within a supportive school district in Santa Rosa, FL. The role focuses on providing speech therapy services to students, including evaluations, case management, and collaboration with educational staff on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate and the opportunity for professional growth in the field of education.
Responsibilities
- Complete evaluations on-site for students requiring speech therapy.
- Manage cases and supervise SLP-Assistants as needed.
- Work directly with assigned students in both 1:1 and group therapy sessions.
- Implement speech therapy techniques tailored to individual student needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with other staff regarding IEPs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years of speech therapy experience required.
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Must hold an active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (FLSLP) license.
- Clinical Competence Certification (CCCs) encouraged, but Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are also considered.
Nice-to-haves
- School classroom experience preferred but not required.
