About the position
The Stepping Stones Group is looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional therapy services to students in schools. This full-time, school-based role in Floresville, TX, focuses on evaluating students' speech, language, and communication abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy services both individually and in groups. The position emphasizes collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication needs and involves monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide therapy services to students individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
