The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position at Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) focuses on improving the lives of children through exceptional speech therapy. The role involves providing high-quality services based on students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and conducting evaluations to assess their speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and making a meaningful impact in their educational journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality speech therapy services to students based on their IEPs/504 plans.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
• Write reports detailing evaluation findings and recommendations for therapy.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to support students' communication needs.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and mentorship programs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• ASHA certification.
• State Speech Pathology License.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
