About the position
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position at Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) focuses on improving the lives of children through exceptional speech therapy. The role involves providing high-quality services based on students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and conducting evaluations to assess their speech and language needs. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality speech therapy services to students based on their IEPs/504 plans.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
- Write reports detailing evaluation findings and recommendations for therapy.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support students' communication needs.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and mentorship programs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- ASHA certification.
- State Speech Pathology License.
Nice-to-haves
