About the position

The Speech Pathologist III at Hilo Benioff Medical Center plays a crucial role in providing diagnostic evaluations and direct services in speech-language pathology. This position requires independent work and collaboration with various healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic evaluations and direct services in speech-language pathology.
  • Coordinate services with physicians, nursing staff, social workers, and other appropriate staff.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or equivalent in speech pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • Completion of all licensing requirements specified by the State of Hawaii to practice as a Speech Pathologist.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • Possession of a valid Hawaii State Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology license to practice as a Speech Pathologist.
  • Valid driver's license to drive in the State of Hawaii.
