About the position

The Spend Management Business Solutions Liaison is responsible for optimizing and sustaining forward-thinking strategies in alignment with operational workflows. This role focuses on driving continuous improvement by distributing best practice recommendations and serving as a trusted liaison across all areas of Spend Management. The position requires critical thinking skills to anticipate challenges and effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and provide ongoing support for end users.
  • Triage a high volume of assistance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Support integration testing of new features and workflows under general direction.
  • Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams including IT, Finance, Accounting, and Clinical teams.
  • Lead small projects using project management methodologies to plan, develop scope, timelines, and deploy solutions.
  • Assist in communicating changes to ensure continuity and alignment of solutions impacting the health system.
  • Travel to various hospital facilities to implement best practice initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 4 or more years of experience in a healthcare supply chain environment or 3 or more years in the supply chain industry.
  • 1 or more years of experience demonstrating presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3 or more years of experience in project management.
  • 3 or more years of experience applying lean practices.
  • 6 or more years of experience in healthcare supply chain, inventory, and procurement.
