About the position
The Splunk Admin/Penetration Tester role involves performing security assessments on client systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. This position requires collaboration with client IT teams and the management of Splunk data collection infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Perform remote or onsite tests on all client systems, networks, and applications to identify security weaknesses.
- Analyze vulnerabilities and mitigation methods.
- Provide reports which include findings, risks, and conclusions.
- Recommend security improvements and methods to mitigate security risks.
- Work with client IT to determine their testing requirements.
- Create and implement new penetration testing methods, scripts, and tools.
Requirements
- Experience as a Splunk Admin.
- Proficiency in Penetration Testing (PenTest).
- Knowledge of Risk Assessment methodologies.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53 standards.
- Understanding of Security Awareness principles.
- Experience in Vulnerability Management.
- Ability to work as a team player.
