About the position

The Sport Shop at Loveland Ski Area is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Ski Tech / Sales Associate for a full-time, seasonal position. This role is perfect for individuals who have a love for skiing or snowboarding and enjoy sharing their expertise with customers. As a Ski Tech, you will play a crucial role in guiding customers in their decisions regarding ski and snowboard demos and purchases. Your responsibilities will include a variety of technical tasks such as mounting skis, maintaining and waxing them, calibrating equipment, and providing custom boot fitting. Every employee is dedicated to ensuring a positive experience for our guests, with a strong emphasis on safety and fun throughout the ski season. In this position, you will be expected to work a minimum of 32 hours per week, with availability required on weekends and holidays. The pay starts at $20.50 per hour, depending on your experience. Responsibilities

• Guide customers in selecting skis or snowboards to demo and purchase.
• Perform technical tasks including mounting skis, maintaining and waxing skis, and calibrating equipment.
• Provide custom boot fitting services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the guest experience.
• Ensure safety and fun are prioritized in all interactions.

Requirements

• Past ski tech experience is encouraged but not required.
• A passion for skiing or snowboarding is essential.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in customer service is a plus.
• Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment is beneficial.
