About the position

The Sports Camp Videographer at Academy Camps is responsible for capturing and creating engaging video content that showcases the camp's sports training sessions and activities. This role is integral to the media team, helping to tell the camp's story through high-quality video production during the summer season. The position requires a commitment to being on-site for the entire summer session, including pre-season training and post-camp activities.

Responsibilities

• Capture daily video content during sports training sessions and evening activities.
• Create Daily Highlight Clips (30-45 seconds) showcasing the day's programming.
• Produce Session Highlight Videos (90-120 seconds) summarizing the best moments from the two-week sessions.
• Compile a Summer 2024 Highlight Video (2-3 minutes) featuring highlights from all three sessions.
• Stream and showcase video clips to the camp audience during mealtimes and events.
• Prepare for, accept feedback, and constructively problem-solve during supervision sessions.

Requirements

• Experience in sports videography and editing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ownership or access to professional-grade video and editing equipment (preferred but not required).
• Self-motivated with a drive to meet daily deadlines.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to connect with others.
