The Sports Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a sports facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests. This role emphasizes strong leadership and exceptional guest service, requiring the manager to handle team management, cash transactions, and maintain high hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the sports facility, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments.
• Oversee shift management, including scheduling staff and ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
• Communicate with sports trainers and youth sports coaches.
• Provide leadership and support to staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining financial integrity within the facility.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance guest services and operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports on facility usage, staff performance, and guest feedback to inform management decisions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and programs at the facility.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a sports or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Experience in report writing to communicate operational metrics clearly.
• Background in cash handling practices and financial management within a facility setting.
• Familiarity with resort or restaurant operations is a plus but not required.
• Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for visitors.
