About the position
Fit Kids America is seeking dynamic Sports Instructors to lead after-school enrichment programs focused on various sports, including soccer, flag football, basketball, tennis, and more. The role emphasizes making fitness fun for children, enhancing their confidence, teaching teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship. Instructors will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of students while teaching the basics of each sport.
Responsibilities
- Teach the basics of various sports to elementary school children.
- Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all students during classes.
- Prepare and set up equipment for each class session.
- Interact positively with students to encourage participation and sportsmanship.
- Follow training protocols and guidelines provided by Fit Kids America.
Requirements
- Experience in sports coaching or teaching (1 year preferred).
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact with children effectively.
- Reliability and punctuality in attending scheduled classes.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with children in a coaching or educational capacity.
- Familiarity with multiple sports offered by Fit Kids America.
