About The Position

The Sports Medicine Physician at Clemson University provides patient-focused primary care non-surgical sports medicine services at the Redfern Student Health Center. Requirements

• Doctoral / Professional Degree in Medicine.
• Medical License to practice in South Carolina.
• Board certified or board eligible with expectation of certification within 1 year.
• Completion of ACGME accredited residency program and sports medicine fellowship.
• Certification or experience in MSK or SPORT US.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of practice experience in sports medicine or musculoskeletal ultrasound.
• Certification in SPORT or MSK US.

Responsibilities

• Provides outpatient sports medicine care for students, including care for acute illness or injury for visitors and worker's compensation care for employees.
• Maintains medical records in accordance with Joint Commission accreditation standards and Student Health Services policies.
• Participates in performance improvement teams and committees to support the objectives of Student Health Services.
