Our Houston client is seeking a talented and dynamic Freelance Sports Photographer & Videographer to join their growing team. As an innovative content provider, we regularly cover various sports events in and around the Houston area. Our team needs someone ready to be intrepid and passionate about capturing every thrilling moment of the game! This position is on an as-needed basis, ideal for candidates who seek a flexible and fulfilling opportunity to work in the fast-paced world of sports media. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality photos and videos of different sports events across Houston. This includes taking headshots, action shots, gameday shots (sporting event & atmosphere), and footage for sponsorship holders. You will work closely with the editorial team to produce visual content that aligns with articles and features, ensuring that the visual narratives you create are stunning and engaging for various digital platforms. Editing captured footage to create compelling visual stories is a key part of this position, and you will need to adhere to deadlines while ensuring all equipment is prepared and functioning before each event. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to operate drones to capture aerial shots whenever required, which adds an exciting dimension to your work. Maintaining a professional and cordial relationship with team and event stakeholders is essential to ensure smooth operations during events.
