The New York Post sports video team is seeking a part-time weekend Video Editor (Saturdays & Sundays 12pm - 8pm, and Sundays during football season 11am - 11pm) with producer smarts to help create compelling, shareable videos. Someone who believes sports news doesn't have to be boring and who appreciates the odd and unconventional stories as well as important ones. You must edit fast and with a flourish. We seek a candidate who is excited about new types of multimedia storytelling and has a track record of creating sports digital video in a fast-paced news organization. Our Spot: The New York Post is the nation's oldest newspaper with the youngest, most ambitious video department. We want to make our mark in digital video and create memorable work and new watching habits among our audience. The legacy of the great headlines conveys the attributes of our videos: bold, irreverent, judgmental, confident and clever. We want to make videos that surprise viewers.
