We are looking for a skilled Sports Videographer and Editor to create engaging video content that captures the excitement of sporting events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in videography and editing, a passion for sports, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. This role involves filming live events, conducting interviews, and producing high-quality video packages for various platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Attend and film a variety of sports events, including games, competitions, and training sessions, ensuring comprehensive coverage of key moments.
  • Collaborate with teams and organizations to develop engaging video content, including highlight reels, promotional videos, and athlete profiles.
  • Conduct interviews with athletes, coaches, and staff to provide insightful commentary and narratives that enhance video content.
  • Edit raw footage into polished videos using professional editing software, ensuring high-quality visuals and audio that meet project specifications.
  • Craft compelling narratives through video, showcasing the dynamics of the sport and the personalities involved.
  • Maintain and set up videography equipment, ensuring all gear is in good working order and prepared for events.
  • Manage the post-production process, including color correction, sound design, and the addition of graphics or effects as needed.
  • Work closely with marketing and communications teams to align video content with branding and promotional strategies.
  • Create short-form content optimized for social media platforms to engage fans and increase visibility for teams and events.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a videographer and editor, preferably in a sports context.
  • Proficiency in using professional video equipment and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Wondershare Filmora).
  • Familiarity with various sports, including rules and strategies, to effectively capture and convey key moments.
