About the position

DanceBUG Inc. is seeking passionate and skilled Videographers/Camera Operators to join our dynamic team for a seasonal position. This role involves traveling nationwide to capture and stream dance competitions, recitals, and workshops. As a Videographer, you will be responsible for setting up and managing video, audio, and streaming equipment on-site, ensuring that all performances are recorded and broadcasted with the highest quality. You will conduct daily video and audio tests to ensure everything is functioning properly, and you will be required to log performances accurately. Additionally, you will communicate regularly with your assigned Coach, Managers, and Onsite Contacts to ensure smooth operations during events. This position requires a commitment to travel across the U.S. from March to June 2025, with specific workdays scheduled throughout this period. DanceBUG is renowned for its innovative solutions in the dance community, and as part of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dance media to audiences nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage video, audio, and streaming equipment on-site.
• Conduct daily video and audio tests to ensure quality.
• Record and log performances as well as manage the live broadcast.
• Upload and/or ship data as required.
• Communicate with your assigned Coach, Managers, and Onsite Contacts weekly.
• Travel to events nationwide.

Requirements

• 3+ years as a Videographer/Camera Operator.
• Expertise in camera settings and audio management.
• Proficiency with Windows and basic editing software (DaVinci, Premiere a plus).
• Ability to manage data and work 'production' hours.
• Valid American Driver's License.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with loud music, flashing lights, and extended periods of stationary work.
• Must pass a Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector check.
